Our mission
” In 2016, a traditional restaurant was finally re-introduced at Köln Messe/Deutz station: ‘DEUTZER Brauhaus’. The philosophy behind it is simply explained: when asked about the best brewery in Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine, our name should come up!
In order to offer you a high standard of quality, we source our products from suppliers who preferably always are regional. It is very important to us not only to offer you a beautiful and original atmosphere, but to also serve great food to go with the delicious Gaffel Kölsch. Everything traditionally Kölsch.”

Whether you’re from Cologne, an immigrant or a tourist,
in Cologne, everyone is welcomed with open arms. We would like to offer you the ideal setting to enjoy this conviviality and hope to have found the perfect balance between a traditional brewery ambience and modern service. With a lot of fun and attention to detail, we wanted to create an original, open and quirky brewery. Whether we have succeeded is for you to judge. We look forward to your visit!

We could easily get carried away with philosophising and expressing our expectations of ourselves, our employees, our food, our authenticity, and so on. But let’s just say it “op Kölsch”: Kumm luure un loss mer fiere! (Come see and let’s party!)
The atmosphere reflects the direct proximity to the Köln Messe/Deutz station and quotes typical railway station elements. You can “travel” here without leaving Cologne!

Genuine brewery cuisine

It is a high priority for our chef that the dishes are genuine Cologne originals and not bad copies. The Rhenish sauerbraten or the stuffed cabbage roulades are a perfect example of this.
